Escrow is an
arrangement where a neutral third party holds funds and legal documents on
behalf of a buyer and seller until the terms and conditions as set forth in the
parties’ agreement have been met. The escrow holder then sends appropriate
documents for recording and upon confirmation of recording, disburses the funds
to the parties as specified in the agreement.
Why Independent
Escrow?
It’s all we
do. Since escrow is our only business, we are experts at coordinating the
buyers, sellers, agents, lenders and title companies for a smooth and timely
closing.
All About
Escrow, Inc. is an independent escrow company licensed by the Washington State
Department of Financial Institutions. All Escrow Officers are required to pass
the DFI’s Escrow Officer Exam, background and credit checks.
